MADS  (present legal name Madeline Perelmuter) is a 23 year-old non-binary queer visual multimedia artist. Born in Moscow Russia. Mads received their BA in Studio Art and Art History at Lafayette College in 2019. They now reside in New York City, where they are pursuing their career in fine arts.

 Their work tackles gender, religion, sexuality, and identity through expressionism. Valentinovna works with a wide array of mediums including, 120 mm film, 35 mm film, DSLR, encaustic and oil paint, gouache, plaster, and thread. They seek to capture the rawness and crudeness of people and society.
